Academic Advising

Academic advising is available to all students at HCC and is currently provided by the faculty. This process is ongoing, multifaceted, and the responsibility of both the student and advisor. Each advisor will seek to provide the most current and accurate information to support the advising process. The student is responsible for seeking academic advising, for knowing and complying with HCC requirements, for knowing the requirements of degree, diploma, and certificate programs, and for taking courses in the proper sequence to ensure orderly and timely progress toward the student's goals.
