Dress Code

Halifax Community College expects all students to dress in a manner than maintains the serious academic intent of the College. In keeping with the mission to prepare students for success in the workforce, students are expected to dress appropriately within the general bounds of which they would seek employment. For campus security, students are not permitted to wear clothing or accessories which obscure, conceal, or distort the student's identity, such as masks, hoodies, disguises, etc. This does not prohibit face masks such as those which cover the nose and mouth and are commonly worn for the purpose of reducing the transmissibility of COVID-19 and similar viruses.
