Bookstore

The Bookstore is accessible on line. Go to HCC's homepage, click Quick Links and click Bookstore. The Bookstore located by an independent bookstore vendor. The Bookstore provides new, used, digital and rental books, as well as online access codes and supplies for most courses. The store also carries gifts and apparel.

Textbook Rental Program
Debit or credit required for collateral. Prepaid cards are not accepted as collateral. Financial aid can be used to pay the rental fees associated with textbooks. Rental books are due on or before the last day of class each semester. A third party processes all charges for rental books not returned. Students may be removed from the rental list for late or non-returned textbooks.

Textbook Refunds/Exchanges
A receipt is required for a refund. You cannot get a refund without it. Please return your textbooks as soon as you know you will not need them. Textbooks in saleable condition may be refunded with receipt within 7 calendar days from the start of classes or within 2 days of purchase thereafter, including summer terms. Textbooks purchased during the last week of classes or during exam week are not eligible for return and may be sold back under the book buyback policy.

Textbook Buy-Backs
Textbook buy-backs are available at the end of each semester. Directions from the online bookstore vendor must be followed. Loose-leaf books are not eligible for buy back.
