The Halifax Community College Student Nurses' Association is the pre-professional organization for student nurses at Halifax Community College. Membership is open to nursing students and pre-nursing students. Halifax Community College is affiliated with the National Student Nurses' Association. The purpose of the organization is to offer students a chance for personal and professional growth. Members of the SNA at HCC will be able to maximize their leadership potential to enhance their career development by: 1) assuming responsibility for contributing to nursing education; 2) provide program representation to express current professional interests and concerns; and 3) aid in the development of one's professional role and responsibility to the holistic healthcare of all people.
