Temporary Disciplinary Action
In the event that the Vice President of Academic & Student Affairs has a reasonable cause to believe that a student's continued enrollment poses (1) a danger to the health or safety of the students, other persons, or college property; or is (2) an ongoing threat of distrusting the academic process, the Vice President of Academic & Student Affairs may impose a disciplinary penalty, pending a hearing. The Vice President of Academic & Student Affairs Service may suspend a student from the College for an interim period pending disciplinary or criminal proceedings, or medical evaluation. The interim suspension shall become immediately effective without prior notice whenever there is evidence that the continued presence of the student at the College poses an immediate and substantial threat to him/herself or to other, or to the stability and continuance of the College functions.
